Tribute to My Father (Carroll F. Monette)

• He was born June 29, 1938
• In the village of Chasm Falls.
• He was the first born of four children
• And he was the glue that bonded them all 
•  
• He loved his father and mother
• Howard and Eunice Monette
• Also his siblings, Sheila, Bruce and Ron
• The six were a wonderful set 
•  
• He received a watch for his 18^th birthday
• And his parents said it’s time to go
• So he packed his bag for the Navy
• And yelled thar she blows 
•  
• He married Norma Hart
• On April 8^th, 1961
• In St Mary’s Church
• In the village of Brushton 
•  
• They had five children together
• Four daughters and one son
• Kim Marie, Mary Ann, Michael Howard
• Sharon Norma, and Amy Susan 
•  
• Jesus came and took his hand
• On August 15, 2007
• He walked him up the staircase
• And now he is in heaven

 

A Prayer of Christian Rebirth

The Armor of God
Put on the Armor of God each day
And you will have protection and might
So that when evil forces attack
God will help you win the fight

Buckle on the belt of truth
To guard you from the devil's deceit
You will be swift and ready for anything
With the gospel of peace on your feet

Put on the breastplate of righteousness
And your choices will be pure and true
Hold the shield of faith with trust
And flaming arrows will not harm you

Cover yourself with the helmet of salvation
Make Jesus your Savior and Lord
Wield the sword of the Spirit
For nothing can yield the word

Friut Bearing Branches of the Vine
1) Jesus, You are the Vine of Life
We are Your branches of love
May we bear so much fruit for You
That it reaches to heaven up above

Refrain: We want to bear much fruit for You
We want to share Your love
May we bring others to You Jesus
Show them You are our Savior from above

2) Lord, lift us up and cleanse us
So we can bear much fruit for You
Prune from us anything that is unproductive
So that we can be pure and true (refrain)

May we be better Christians each day
May we remain in You, and You in us
As we turn and leave our old ways (refrain)
